Hello everyone!

SSM faculty have been meeting and we are going to go ONLINE for group repertoire/technique classes starting Tuesday April 14.

From Sounds to Symbols , Ensemble 1 and 2 and Dalcroze will NOT meet online but will provide you with weekly links or ideas to keep you engaged.

We are continuing to follow the guidelines of MMSD regarding #saferathome .

In order to make ONLINE classes work as best we can :

1. we will utilize ZOOM

2. please respond to YOUR HOME studio teachers email in the same thread with :

   Student names:

   Current working pieces:

   Parent names:

   Email for ZOOM invites

   Phone # for FACETIME

3. We will continue to meet on Tuesdays between 4:00-6:45

   Group classes will be smaller and sensitive to both ability levels and class dynamics

   Group classes will be 30 minutes in length

   You will receive a password protected ZOOM invite for group class

   GROUP CLASSES TIMES AND LEVELS WILL BE POSTED IN THE NEXT UPDATE

4. The assigned teacher for each group will create the ZOOM invite

5. You can FaceTime or Zoom practice or hang out with your pals at SSM

6. Please make sure you have your students violin tune to A 440
