Thank you parents and support practice pals.

This is a thank you …

To all you parents et al. for keeping violin and music alive and well in your families life and your child’s(rens) life.

TOGETHER

We have adapted to online studio lessons and group classes.

TOGETHER

We have used a variety of resources Zoom FaceTime Skype ,YouTube ,Links and websites of all kinds. We’ve watched concerts and masterclasses online. We’ve added silliness and games to keep practice engaging.

TOGETHER

We’ve had studio challenges : 5 days in a row, stronger pinkies, cleaner shifts, Bach Sonata, consistent review – whatever it is make it short and tangible so challenge is always motivating.

YOU are the ROCKSTARS who complete the Suzuki triangle of Student/Teacher/Parent.

WE the faculty at SSM are grateful that you are musically growing with us in spite of these unprecedented times.

Spring Groups classes will be ending May 19 for all and May 26 for Sonora.

A very special shout out to our families who have frontline workers and to all who are sharing their abilities during this time:

healing the sick , keeping hospitals running safely in all ways

fueling our bellies

fueling our souls with words of compassion and keeping us informed

volunteering services to others in need

staying positive and loving to your own families at home

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER

How many of us knew that Lightly Row original words are about Little Hans who runs away from home or the Japanese version of the little butterfly who finds cherry blossoms more appealing?

Boccherini Minuet is the actual violin 1 part of the his String quintet ( two cellos).

enjoy:)
