Dear Suzuki Strings of Madison and Madison Cello Ensemble families,

We appreciate your pivot this January to Zoom with us as we navigated our ever changing Covid landscape. The SSM directors are balancing the opinions of our teachers, parents and MYArts policies as well as monitoring CDC guidelines for group instruction decisions.

We want to safeguard everyone’s health as well as prioritize safe in-person instruction for our scheduled group classes. We understand the need to create a secure environment alongside a sense of normalcy for our students. 

SSM /MCE is planning to restart all group repertoire classes in person as of February 1. We will keep you posted for the return of String Ensemble and movement classes. Please communicate with your studio teacher by 1/25 should your family wish to continue online as we reserve our MYArts classrooms well in advance and want to make sure that our reserved space reflects our in-person returning students’ needs. 

You can now pay your group tuition online through the updated SSM website or by check. Winter/Spring tuition is due February 8. Please note the adjusted tuition takes into account our longer 18 week semester, MYArts rental fees as well as our brief move to online classes in January .
