Listen to the String Orchestra perform and then come hear and share ideas for successful practice time. New and veteran Suzuki parents are encouraged to attend.
If you would like to come, but your child is uncomfortable without you in the same room, perhaps arrangements could be made for another adult to stay at the play in.

Madison Cello Ensemble is offering a Vivaldi g minor Masterclass for our combined advanced Ensembles 1 & 2 on Tuesday, November 22nd, from 7:00-8:15 pm in preparation for their Winter Solstice Celebration! The masterclass will involve all students who play Vivaldi g minor in workshopping the piece and conclude with the coaching of Valentine on the elaborate and exquisite 3rd prelude by JS Bach.
Our guest clinician, Eric Miller, is an excellent local teacher renowned for his work as a Baroque Cellist, soloist, improviser, and experimenter. We are incredibly fortunate to have him sharing his talent and expertise with our groups.
Attendance is mandatory for all cellists who plan to play the Vivaldi in our Winter Solstice Celebration. Please come with your part very well rehearsed and ready to polish. Memorization is encouraged! Our Ensemble 1 students will be given a snack break to be fresh and energized to work with Eric. Please adjust your schedules to ensure your child can participate!

Families and guests may purchase door prize tickets and order family pizza in advance.
At 5:00 a preconcert reception–door prize viewing and bids, as well as will be seasonal treats and beverages will be offered for donation
