This Tuesday, March 21st we’ll be gathering at MyArts from 5:30-6:30 to hold a special sharing event. Each class will share a selection from a black or female composer. Music and Movement and pre-twinkle violin and cello classes will still be held that day. Maria-Rosa will be selling SSM T-shirts at the event, so everyone has one to wear for the Danish String Quartet field trip on April 18th!
No group classes on Tuesday, March 28th. Have a wonderful spring break!
Calendar update: there will be no play-in on April 25th. We’ll be holding regular group classes that day to prepare for our spring concert.
Come join your SSM/MCE friends on June 16th for a special event at the duck pond! This is a non-profit night benefiting Suzuki Strings, and we’ll get a portion of each ticket we sell. In addition to playing the national anthem, there will be a 50-50 raffle (also benefiting SSM), and a Suzuki Strings promo table. Click here to reserve your ticket–and please share widely with your friends and family!
Cellists–free classes are available through Cello Kids! CelloKids classes utilize a unique curriculum that fuses the Dalcroze Method with musicianship on the cello. Classes are free for participants ($5 for observers). Click here to find out more and sign-up!
