We’re looking forward to seeing you on Friday at SSM/MCE Mallard’s non-profit night fundraiser! Ticket sales are open until Friday, and the student who sells the most tickets will win a special Mallards prize basket! Please share the ticket info widely with family and friends!
Please arrive at 5pm in the Sherman School parking lot (1601 North Sherman) to park and practice for the National Anthem at 5:15. After practicing, we’ll drive over the Mallards–they need us lined up on the field by 6. The first pitch is at 6:30. Please wear your SSM t-shirt and jeans. Everyone MUST have a ticket–including performers. Please don’t be late!
Volunteers needed for the 50/50 raffle–please call or text Diana at 608.695.4020.
Come join your SSM/MCE friends on June 16th for a special event at the duck pond! This is a non-profit night benefiting Suzuki Strings, and we’ll get a portion of each ticket we sell. In addition to playing the national anthem, there will be a 50-50 raffle (also benefiting SSM), and a Suzuki Strings promo table. Click here to reserve your ticket (they are $15 apiece)–and please share widely with your friends and family! Sheet music for the Star Spangled Banner can be found here.
Register for FFF (Fantastic Folk and Fiddle) today! This event occurs August 2-5th, and is for students ages 10-18 (registration for children under 10 with teacher recommendation). Young musicians of all levels of experience will have the opportunity to learn new styles of music through large and small group classes with expert instructors, culminating in a final performance at the Sugar Maple Music Festival! Free Sugar Maple Music Festival passes are included for workshop participants and their guardians. The featured artists, “Big Richard” are a nationally acclaimed all girl band that play diverse styles and several have training in Suzuki pedagogy.
