Today’s letter is specifically for those attending the Madison Mallards baseball game this Friday, June 16th.
If you are not able to join us – we will miss you! Many students are away at camps already or on holiday. We hope you are enjoying the start of summer.

Friday June 16th wear your SSM tshirt and jeans ( I will have extras for sale Youth S/M/L and Adult M- 15$ each)
arrive 5:00 pm sharp
parking lot of Shabazz School : 1601 North Sherman
unpack /tune and lineup-receive your Mallards SSM sticker
5:15 pm
establish standing order and run through of Star Spangled Banner a few times
cellos and violas and violins. we have close to 40 performers !!!!!!
5:30 pm
depart to Madison Mallards Duckpond parking
2920 North Sherman ( head north on Sherman ave, pass one stoplight, turn left at the Mallards parking lot sign )
5:45 pm
Enter main gates with electronic ticket
EVERYONE must have a ticket
6:00 pm
all performers at the baseball players gate
instruments unpacked / cases will be under the bleachers- recheck tuning
line up on field- wait till we are called and then move swiftly but carefully to the pitchers mound in our assigned lines
line leaders in both directions will be assigned
please be attentive
6:30 pm FIRST PITCH Lars, representing SSM

RETURN INSTRUMENT TO CASES AND JOIN EVERYONE IN THE STANDS ! HAVE FUN TOGETHER and represent SSM/MCE
SSM will have :
*an information table at the entrance
*a video on the jumbotron
*50/50 raffle
HELP NEEDED
50/50 raffle
We will have an adult and a SSM student pair working the stands with raffle tickets
Student will carry a bucket to receive one half of the ticket stubs from purchaser
Adult volunteers for 50/50: Diana , Dale W. and NEED THREE MORE adults for stands .
Maria Rosa and Shannon will work SSM info table with raffle tix
Adults will have money belt and with change ( 1$ and 5$)
Students: need 5 students to help out – cheerful and confident middle and high school age
What we will charge for the 50/50

1$. 1 ticket
SSM receives 50 percent of all monies collected and there is one lucky winner from the stands. This can be a huge fundraiser!
