MCE Winter Solstice Benefit this Thursday!

Solstice Benefit Concert and Pizza Ordering

All SSM families are invited to celebrate with the MCE,  Sonora members,  SSM violas and String Orchestra at the 23rd Annual Madison Cello Ensemble’s Solstice Benefit Concert.  Support and cheer on our young musicians giving back to their community! Join the reception featuring door prizes, followed by a concert featuring a holiday sing and the powerful Vivaldi Double with over 20 celli and Sonora! Order pizza in advance.

Reception and door prizes will begin at 5 in the MyArts 4th floor atrium, followed by music at 7.  Admission is by donation.  See the flier below for more details.

Pizza orders for families will be due December 15th.   Pizza will be served at 5:45 on 12/21.  PIZZA ORDER FORMS CAN BE FOUND HERE.

ALL MCE members are encouraged to contribute to the fundraiser! Door prize donations should be delivered to MYArts or Beth’s house (2202 Van Hise) by December 19th.

Here are the songs for the Sing-a-Long at Great Wolf and the Solstice Benefit Concert.  Encouraging our young musicians to sing helps build their auditory memories and musicianship. For fun, alternate the holiday lyrics with singing the note names and finger numbers!
