SSM Night at Madison Mallards–Get Your Tickets Today!
Saturday JUNE 15: 6:05 game time!
SSM will be the featured non-profit at the Madison Mallards! This is a huge fundraiser for Suzuki Strings (every ticket through our link gives $10 back to SSM) and we all work together to make it as successful as possible! Everyone is welcome–even if you aren’t playing the Star Spangled Banner! Please share our ticket link widely with workplaces, and invite family and friends to the game. How fun would it be to fill the entire section with SSM students, family and friends!

Star Spangled Banner Rehearsal: We will rehearse the SSB at 5pm before the game for those choosing to play (1601 North Sherman–one stoplight from Warner Park).
Come on the pitcher’s mound with your SSM pals –all are welcome to play the SSB!

First Pitch: Interested in throwing out the first pitch at the game? We’ll have two Suzuki Strings kids on the mound. Diana is taking names of potential pitchers until 5/14 –text your submissions to 608.695.4020!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the 50/50 Raffle: If interested, contact Diana dvpopowycz@gmail.com at 608.695.4020. Raffle tickets, buckets, aprons, change and training provided 🙂 We work in pairs– adult or (tall teen) and another student. Last year we generated $1200 for SSM and the other half for one lucky winner that nearly fainted when they found out the amount of the 50/50!
100 Day Club: Tuesday May 21 from 5pm- 7pm at Vitense Mini Golf (5501 Schroeder Rd). Each student that completed 100 days practice receives 1 round of mini golf, pizza, lemonade, scoop of ice-cream and congratulations from everyone at Suzuki Strings of Madison! Parents and siblings are welcome but pay their own way.
SONORA STRINGS Rehearsals: Sonora will rehearsal on Tuesday May 21 and May 28 from 5:30-6:45. They will perform Saturday, June 1 at the Milwaukee Museum of Art (pending response of Sonora families).
SOLO GRADUATION RECITAL: Come celebrate our Suzuki Graduates! Dress rehearsal at MYARTS, Tuesday, May 28 4:45-5:45. Performance and graduation, Sunday June 2 –Tune 1:30 Play 2:00 at Oakwood Village West University Woods.
Make Music Madison: Make Music Madison is Friday, June 21 from 5-5:45! We’ll play at the Chocolate Shoppe on 2531 Monroe Street.

Save the Date–Suzuki Strings of Madison at CONCERTS ON THE SQUARE: SSM will be a part of the Concert on the Square Kid’s Area on Wednesday July 10 (rain date Thursday July 11). We will have a table with information about SSM, games and educational materials about the performance for young audience members, an instrument petting zoo, and a showcasing of our SSM’s students performances.
