Welcome back to our returning  Suzuki families and a BIG welcome to our newly enrolled families.

You are already receiving weekly Suzuki updates that focus on the nitty gritty of running a program of this size…and it’s often a lot to sift through. Thank you for taking the time to read those updates.

INTRODUCING the mid-week Wednesday update just for you–parents and caregivers of our wonderful young musicians!

A single topic which might focus on

~musical field trips
~inspirational and supportive information

This week I want to invite everyone to our BACK TO SCHOOL event happening on Tuesday September 24 at MYArts in room 4 D.
We will start with a Play-In: tune at 5:15 and and play at 5:30-6:30.  ALL LEVELS from our littlest pre-twinklers to our Sonora Strings teens.
We will have a parent mixer to get to know your Suzuki friends and see if we can help create some rideshares to weekly groups for those in need.

And then there’s a party with PIZZA and ICECREAM!!!!  For $5 you get a slice of Ian’s pizza 🍕 , beverage 🥤and a scoop of ice cream 🍦with fun toppings.  Extra slices of ‘za are $3 ea. drinks $1, and ice cream $1.  SONORA STRINGS –our advanced touring ensemble–will be your servers.  All monies made after we pay off Ian’s goes to help them fundraiser for their San Diego tour.   Tap, swipe or cash.  Tipping is welcome.

We need to know how much to preorder from Ian’s, so please stop by the registration desk, on the second floor next Tuesday. I will also wander the classrooms to double check if you like cheese or pepperoni:)

So let’s BUILD COMMUNITY Tuesday September 24! Play some music, eat dinner,  and get to know one another a little bit better.
