Group Classes begin September 8th & 9th!

We’re so excited to see everyone back at Covenant and MYArts next week for the start of group classes!  We can’t wait to hear what you’ve been up to this summer and are excited to make music together this year.  September is such a busy month, and we’ve tried to streamline SSM tasks to make it as easy as possible for you.  Please complete the checklist below before arriving to group classes.

If you have any questions, please email administrator@suzukistringsofmadison.org.

  1. Register for 2025-2026.  Click HERE to register–please note the different registration forms for Violin, Viola, and our multi-level group class at Covenant (more info on that below).  Payment for SSM is billed in two semesters–fall and spring.  Once you have filled out the registration form, visit the store HERE to make a payment for fall.  Tuition is due September 25th.  We will be assigning a late fee of $16 for any late payments after the 25th.  Molly will be at MYArts for in-person registration on September 9th if you have any questions.
  2. Make sure you are signed up for eblasts We have a weekly eblast on Saturday that contains info about SSM happenings.  It’s difficult to stay on top of special events and performances if you’re not signed up for these eblasts.  If you’re a new sign-up, I recommend checking your spam folder on Saturday after 2:30pm to make sure the eblast didn’t go there.
  3. Print our Fall/Winter Calendar!  Click on the image below to enlarge and print.  This is a one-stop shop of all SSM events leading up to the new year.  You can also find SSM events on our online calendar HERE.
  4. Print our September Review Sheet.  Each month we’ll post a review sheet.  These are the selections your student should be reviewing in practice that month, and the pieces we’ll perform together at the Play-In at the end of the month!  These review sheets can also be found under Learning Resources on the website.
  5.  Know where you’re going at MYArts on Tuesday!  Below is a list of group class locations at MYArts.  Molly will also be on the 2nd floor of MYArts to help you get where you’re going.
  6. Get ready for our Back to School Play-in and Welcome Party!  On September 30th we’ll meet in the Black Box Theater at MYARts for an all-school Play-in.  At 5:15 we’ll tune, and 5:30 we’ll begin playing!  We’ll all gather at 6:15 pizza, drinks, cake and fun on the 4th floor patio and Starlight common space.   This event will be FREE but we’ll have a tip jar available.
