Sonora Holiday Cookie Ordering

It’s cookie time!  Sonora is selling homeade holiday cookies again this year to raise funds for their annual tour.  This year we will have a limited presale (50 boxes only!) and boxes for sale on Dec 16 during the Play-In and hot cocoa party.
A decoratively wrapped box of a generous dozen can be preordered at this Tuesday’s Play-in and online here.
20$ per order goes to support Sonora’s annual tour.

Mark your Calendars–December 16th Play-In and Hot Chocolate Social

We will have no regular classes on Tuesday, December 16th and will follow a play-in schedule.  After the play-in, we’ll have hot chocolate available for purchase in the MYArts 4th floor lobby!

Wisconsin Union Theater Discounted Tickets

The Wisconsin Union Theater at UW has offered discounted tickets toJoyce DiDonato with Time For Three on February 12. Discounted tickets are $10 for Suzuki students, parents $25.

Music for Rachel Barton Pine Workshop

We’ll be learning music to prepare for the Rachel Barton Pine workshop on February 17th.  Music can be purchased HERE and audio files are available HERE.

It seems so far away, but will be here soon!  We have some exciting events coming, including our February workshop with Rachel Barton Pine and our May Concert. Take a peek at what January-May is looking like for SSM!

 

Overture Center Community Ticket Program

Suzuki Strings takes part in Overture Center’s Community Ticket program.  The Community Ticket Program helps ensure that all people, regardless of economic ability, have access to the performing arts. Through partnerships with more than 100 local social services organizations, the program reaches families throughout Dane County that are able to receive tickets for $3, and Broadway shows are $4.25.  Occasionally we will be offered tickets for certain shows, and I’ll post them here.  The promo code for the concerts is SUZUKI.

Below please find our offerings for December Community Tickets! Tickets will be available on December 2nd instead of them going on sale today like they typically do. With our holiday break and with our cyber sale happening this week we need to push this. Be sure to check out our cyber sales to see if there is anything that will be helpful for your organizations as well!

20 tickets available per show, 4 tickets per patron, balcony only.

No one under the age of 6 permitted. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Thursday, December 11th – 7:30pm, Friday, December 12th – 7:30pm, Saturday, December 13th – 2:00pm, Sunday, December 14th – 2:00pm

30 tickets available per show, 5 tickets per patron, rows E and F in the Mezzanine, rows D-O in the balcony.
