RSVP Deadline for Rachel Barton Pine recital/workshop is Friday

We’re looking forward to welcoming Rachel Barton Pine for a very special recital and workshop with Suzuki Strings of Madison!

Location: WYSO Building
Start Time: 5:30 PM

All attending SSM students and families must RSVP. RSVP deadline is this Friday, January 30th.  Please complete the form as soon as possible if you plan to attend.

Important Information for Performing Students

  • Arrival time: 5:00 PM
  • The event will begin promptly at 5:30 PM
  • We know this is a tricky travel window — families are encouraged to:
    • Pick students up directly from school when possible
    • Carpool to the WYSO building

Drop-off & Parking Options:

  • Students may be dropped off directly at WYSO.  We will have parent volunteers at the door to usher kids to the room.
  • Parking is available at:
    • MYArts lot (SSM families only)
    • Lapham Elementary 
    • WYSO building (along east Washington in front of the building and in the WYSO lot adjacent to Avis)

Overflow Room Available:
An additional room at WYSO will stream the workshop live, offering a more relaxed participation option.

Tickets to Rachel Barton Pine’s MSO’s performances

Each SSM performers in Books 1-Sonora gets two free vouchers for the performance they’re playing a pre-show for.  In addition, Overture Center has $4 Community Tickets Available for Rachel Barton Pine’s MSO performances. The promo code is “Suzuki.”  Tickets go on sale January 30th at 11am.

20 tickets per performance, 4 per patron, no seat restrictions

Recommended for ages 6 and up.

Friday, February 20th – 7:30pm

Saturday, February 21st – 7:30pm
