Payment for SSM is billed in two semesters–fall and spring.  Once you have filled out the registration form, visit the store HERE to make a payment for fall.  Tuition is due September 25th.  We will be assigning a late fee of $16 for any late payments after the 25th.

Please take a few minutes to complete these steps before our first group class on September 9th!  We will be holding in-person registration at MYArts that day, but things tend to go smoother if registration happens prior to the 9th.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to administrator@suzukistringsofmadison.org.

Tuesday Group Classes at MYArts

Our weekly Tuesday offerings at MYArts provide a dynamic and engaging experience for all students.  Our group classes are held at the state-of-the-art MYArts building  in Madison’s vibrant youth arts corridor. We offer a wide range of classes designed to nurture musical development in children of all ages and skill levels. These include Music and Movement for our youngest learners, focusing on experiencing music through movement, Pre-Twinkle Violin for beginning violinist, and progressively advanced violin classes from Book 1 through Book 5.  String ensemble and theory strengthens violin  sightreading and part playing as well as adding a theory component.  The RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) curriculum will now be embedded into our String Ensemble emphasizing music theory in an experiential musical context.  Sonora, SSM’s advanced violin touring ensemble, performs throughout Wisconsin and travels nationally and internationally. Monthly play-ins, held on the last Tuesday of each month, bring our community together and serve as a valuable preparation for special SSM performances and outreach events.

Multi-Level Group Class at Covenant Presbyterian

To support diverse schedules and needs, we are offering a new bi-monthly multi-level Monday group class at Covenant Presbyterian Church.  This offering is for students who have difficulty getting to MYArts for Tuesday evening classes due to sports commitments or complicated commutes to MYArts. This class will service Twinkles-Book 4.  In addition to the class dates below, participants are strongly encouraged to join play-ins at MYArts on the last Tuesday of each month-  Play-ins start at 5:15 Tune, 5:30 Play.

The class meets the following Mondays from 6:15-7:15 P.M at Covenant Presbyterian Church (326 S Segoe Road, Madison WI 53705).  Tuition is $235.
