Halloween Concert is October 25th!

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend and are enjoying the chill in the air!  A couple of quick reminders:

Please stay home if you’re feeling sick! With all the kiddos back in school, it’s definitely the season for sniffles and coughs. If you’re too unwell to attend school, we ask that you also stay home from group classes.

Congrats to our October Solo Recital Performers

It was a fabulous concerts at Oakwood last weekend!  Thanks to all our performers for their fabulous playing and to our audience for cheering on our players!

Halloween Concert at the State Capitol–October 25th 🎃

Come join us for one of our favorite events of the year–our Halloween Concert at the State Capitol!  Dress up in your favorite costume, bring your violin/viola, and join in the fun.  Saturday, October 25th–10:30 Tune, 11am Play.

 

Overture Center Community Ticket Program

Suzuki Strings takes part in Overture Center’s Community Ticket program.  The Community Ticket Program helps ensure that all people, regardless of economic ability, have access to the performing arts. Through partnerships with more than 100 local social services organizations, the program reaches families throughout Dane County that are able to receive tickets for $3, and Broadway shows are $4.25.  Occasionally we will be offered tickets for certain shows, and I’ll post them here.  The promo code for the concerts is SUZUKI.

Madison Ballet – Rock the Ballet

6 tickets available per show, 2 tickets per patron, no seat restrictions.  This performance will take place at the MyArts Center located at 1055 E Mifflin St, Madison, WI 53703. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Friday, October 10th – 7:00pm, Saturday, October 11th – 2:00pm, Saturday, October 11th – 7:00pm, Sunday, October 12th – 2:00pm

Madison Symphony – Primal Light

20 tickets available per show, 4 tickets per patron, no seat restrictions.  Recommended for ages 12 and up. Friday, October 17th – 7:30pm. Saturday, October 18th – 7:30pm. Sunday, October 19th – 2:00pm

Overture Presents – Mariachi Rock Revolution

50 tickets available, 6 tickets per patron, no seat restrictions.  Recommended for ages 6 and up. Thursday, October 30th – 7:30pm
