Dear SSM families,
In less than a month, Saturday May 2, 2026, we will hold our All School Spring Concert at the gorgeous Mitby Theater on the campus of Madison College. Please share the invitation below widely with family and friends. This is a free concert and has ample seating for a large audience.
This is a showcase concert presenting all of Suzuki Strings of Madison, from our youngest and newest pre-twinkle students, to our seasoned touring ensemble students of Sonora Strings, including our viola ensemble, Prelude Strings and all of our weekly group class students.
It is an opportunity for us to share the musical and artistic achievements of the work that goes on every week at MYARts and bi-monthly at CPC.
It is also a celebration of 35 years of Suzuki Strings of Madison – providing musical instruction in group and private studio classes, outreach concerts, workshops, barn dances, public performances and tours, recitals and social events.

Group classes meet Tuesdays April 7, 14, 21 at MYARts and Monday 13, 27 at CPC.
Dress rehearsal is Tuesday April 28 in Room 4D MYARts. Tune 5:15 play 5:30 – consult the handout below for repertoire and details.
Concert day Saturday May 2. Tune 3:30, Perform 4:00. Reception to follow!
Park in the A lot off Wright Street, or the metered spaces (free) next to the theater.
Give yourself time to park and cross the street to the main Madison College entrance at 1701 Wright Street.
Concert dress is black bottoms and white tops, just like in the invite below–only Sonora wears all black. We will have a bin of gently used clothes out every Tuesday this month by room 2A at MYARts. Please drop off any clothes you have for others too!
