Group Classes

Group classes are an integral and essential part of Suzuki instruction, building community as well as listening and ensemble skills. Parents play an important role in the learning process, and are expected to be present to observe group classes for students in book levels 1-3. Siblings are welcome to observe classes, provided they sit quietly and are not disruptive. We kindly request that you reserve conversations for outside the classrooms.

Class Schedules can be found on our Group Class Information page.

We encourage you to take notes that may be helpful for home practice with your child. A picture can be worth a thousand words, not to mention a great way to document and better understand your practice assignments for the week. However, if you wish to take a photo or video during class, please request permission from the group class teacher. For privacy issues, and per our Photo and Video Release Statement (below) we request that you do not share anything on social media without consent from other families who may appear in those images.
